Project Life Baby Brag Book Part 3

Project Life Layouts
This is Part 3 of the Project Life baby brag book.  See Part 1 and Part 2. I did 3 (near) identical brag books to give as gifts to the grandparents.  I am currently working on a bigger baby album for myself as well.   This is Month 1 – Month 5. Month 5 is just an arbitrary month where I was well enough from the delivery and adjusted enough to life with a new baby that I felt like I could tackle a project like this album.  I could probably have put in more months if I stuck to 1 spread per month but I just wanted to do this very quickly so I could mail them to the grandparents already.  I just did everything very basic so that I can start working on the real baby album that I am doing for myself which would have more details and would be per week(!) instead of per month. This spread is Month 1.  I just did a title spread that said Month 1 and wrote some of her milestones underneath.  This one says, “Social smile, coos, can hold head up, likes to be held standing up.” project-life-baby-brag-book-039   Month 2.  Title card says, “Can be pulled from laying to sitting, first trip to Orlando for wedding, sits with support”. project-life-baby-brag-book-040 Month 3.  Title card says,  “First laugh, rolls from tummy to front”. project-life-baby-brag-book-041 Month 4.  Title card says, “Rolls from back, first booboo”. My mother-in-law gave me one of those handprint/footprint kits and I didn’t manage to use it until the 4th month.  (I did have a footprint from the hospital, though). Some of the shots are her first time in a playground. project-life-baby-brag-book-042 Still month 4.   Some photos from her 4 month wellness check at the pediatrician plus some random photos.  The 3 x 4 card has some of her stats from that visit. project-life-baby-brag-book-043 First Christmas. We put all the toys she got for Christmas in a box then decided it would be cute to put her in the box as well.   I managed to take a shot or two before she started crying.  With babies it’s important to take shots immediately once you place them, then fix the scene, then take more photos so just in case they start crying, you got your shot already. project-life-baby-brag-book-044     Month 5.  Title card says, “First food, sits unsupported using arms as tripod”. Some photos at the dog park. project-life-baby-brag-book-045 Still month 5. I did some portrait shots with my DSLR camera.  These were just in her pack and play in the white sheet that comes with it.  I just stripped her down to her diaper.  I dragged the pack and play to our back deck to get some natural sunlight in. The top 2 photos in the center where she has her fingers in her mouth are some of my favorite shots of her. project-life-baby-brag-book-046 Still Month 5. project-life-baby-brag-book-047 project-life-baby-brag-book-051 On the right side are some shots of her at church and in the church nursery. project-life-baby-brag-book-050 Last Page.  I just used some more of the portraits from Day 1 to finish the album. project-life-baby-brag-book-048  project-life-baby-brag-book-049 See Part 1 and Part 2.
